35 days. Just over a month until I'm on a plane to Moscow then a quick jump to Rome. 35 days means it's time to get my crap together. And the lack of blogging means I'm being productive elsewhere.
My to do list is pretty lengthy, not including my 24 before 25 list. Lots of things I'd like to get done before I leave the country for a month and a half.
Some of the biggies are:
- Finish Lumen and get her printed (if not in the Etsy shop too...)
- Make a dent in the 5 children's books commissions I've racked up
- Send off Ruby to more potential publishers
Fingers crossed on getting all this done. I've been making a lot of progress on Lumen! 4.5 illustrations in the last 48 hours! She's getting so close! The Blurb program is being a bit of a pill but I'm hoping the results will make all the spontaneous program freezing and swearing fits worth it.
I've been hitting the sewing machines a bit more too. Note the plural machines...yeaaah, me and sewing machines apparently don't see eye to eye. Out of the 3 machines we have here, from inheritance, gifts and yard sale finds, only one is functional at the moment. Their untimely demise naturally occurred in the middle of a project. I started putting all the extra rope from the Chair Faire project to use by sewing up some baskets. They're floating all over right now but I've been using Esther's tutorial over at Wholly Kao and I love them! Absolutely addicted. I've been doing some patching and repair work on a few things finally too.
Well, time to get back to work. But here's a little peek at what's been happening in the bubble lately.
Popped over from Bluebird blog.
